With its big, dark red leaves, the Philodendron Imperial Red is one of the easiest plants to look after – simply needing bright, indirect light and watering when the few cm of soil have dried out. (it would prefer to be underwatered than overwatered). It can tolerate lower light but will grow faster in a brighter spot.
Water from the bottom and mist every so often. Give its’ leaves a wipe down to ensure it can photosynthesise efficiently. it does like to be warm, so needs to be kept away from draughts or colder rooms.
While it is air purifying, it is toxic to animals.
