The Philodendron Birkin is one of our rarer plants, with an array of dark green leaves and white stripes running through some of them.
A tropical plant, it will thrive in bright, indirect light – direct sun can cause the leaves to drop off.
Water when the soil starts to dry out – stick your finger a few cm down to see whether it’s ready for a drink. Make sure to reduce the amount you water your Birkin in the winter.
It will thrive in a warm, humid room, so be sure to keep it away from draughts.
Your Birkin is air purifying but toxic to animals.
